Special Association Board Meeting!

A special annual meeting was called by the BFHOA board on January 23rd, 2010. 5 new board members were elected to the board of directors.

A complete list of all current officers can be found on the [Contact Us] page.

Minutes from the meeting can be found on the [Board Reports] page.

Dogs Running Loose
We have received a few complaints lately from homeowners regarding neighbors letting their dogs run loose through other people's yard. This is a violation of our bylaws and Brunswick city ordinances.

City ordinances state that dogs must be kept leashed and under control within the property of the dogs owner. They also state that any waste from pets must be cleaned by the owner.

DO NOT leave animal waste on common property or in association garbage cans.

Homeowners are encouraged to call the dog warden if you observe a homeowner not picking up after their pet either on your property or common areas.

Housing Elevations
Updates as of 5/24/07:
  • Oak Hollow is a planned community of 60 homes - approx. 40 single family and 20 cluster homes that will extend Nola Dr. north and connect with Greenwich Lane in the Pumpkin Ridge development.
  • It will be a deed restricted community with similiar restrictions to Benjamin Farm HOA.
  • House elevations are planned to complement Park Place at Benjamin Farm and the single family homes will be of similar construction as those throughout our development. Please see the sample elevations for more detail.
  • The developer and a homeowner on W. 130th have verbally agreed to terms to install a construction entrance on his property. They are drafting an agreement with their lawyers. This will avoid construction traffic on Benjamin and Nola Drives.
  • EPA and Corps of Engineering Approval is expected, but has not been received.
  • Existing greenery and trees south of the gas lines and bordering Park Place properties will be maintained to provide screening between existing and new homes.
  • The developer, Jeff Fisk, is picking up the cost of lowering the gas line to permit the Nola Dr. tie in. Once the development is open.
  • The gas company has effectively shut down access to the development via W. 130th, saying it is too close to the gas line. Construction entrance will now be through Nola and Greenwich. They've threatened to issue an injunction to make this happen. Keep checking back for more information.
  • LATEST: The city and BFHOA have taken pictures of the streets and homes around the construction site of Oak Hollow. Any damage will be repaired by the developer upon completion of the new development.
